I've recently come to realize that i have unrealistic expectations for poker. Not in general but specifically when i sit down to play each session. It seems i expect to always turn a profit and when i don't, i feel crappy because of it.
So what should my expectations be?
It would seem impossible to show a profit every session i play. There will be losing sessions, i have to accept it.
How should i feel about these losing sessions?
I cannot get caught up on the fact that i lost money. I should just review the session and figure out why i lost. My feelings on a session should be based entirely on the quality of the decisions i made. If i made good decisions and still lost, well than that is ok.
