Down Swing

I've been in a down swing for the past few days. Not surprisingly it started when i was dabling in 6 max, then continued when i tried 100nl. Of course this was the absolute worst time to switch to 100nl fr because i was playing poorly. My confidence or game was not what it should be and I got my ass handed to me again.

Therefore i've decided to stick around 50NL for a while, until things get back on track which i'm confident will be soon. I've been 7-8 tabling 50NL on PP and while i'm pretty comfortable playing that many tables i'm not sure if its affecting my play. I don't feel like it does, but i wonder if some of my decision may be a tad off. I usually just open all 7 table at once, however i think i should open 4 then after 3 orbits open another 4. This should help me get a better idea of the table dynamics which is hard to get 8 tabling. btw i ordered a 20.1" samsung monitor which should help a bit as well. below are my 3 biggest losing hands from my last session;

hand 1
Played this set too slow and allowed villian to catch up. I shouldve definitely bet on the turn, but also i've got to start puting opps on ranges in situations like this. Villian was 20/17 and aggr in position over 65 hands. he showed down KQs when raising from the btn with limpers in pot, so hes capable of making this play without a great but good hand.

MP1 ($78.28)
MP2 ($33.60)
Hero ($54.15)
CO ($5.40)
Button ($106.40)
SB ($49.60)
BB ($52.45)
UTG ($40)
UTG+1 ($26.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 3d, 3s. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG (poster) checks, 1 fold, MP1 raises to $1, 1 fold, Hero calls $1, 1 fold, Button raises to $5, 2 folds, UTG folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls $4.

Flop: ($12.25) Ks, 3c, Qd (2 players)

Turn: ($26.25) 9d (2 players)

River: ($26.25) Jc (2 players)
Hero bets $10, Button raises to $30, Hero calls $32.15 (All-In), Button calls $12.15.

Final Pot: $110.55

Results below:
Hero has 3d 3s (three of a kind, threes).
Button has Th Tc (straight, king high).
Outcome: Button wins $110.55.

hand 2
I guess i could chalk this hand up to variance. I correctly sensed weakness on the flop and I had psition so I reraised. The 6 on the turn seals my faith, villian has OESD+Flush combo going and makes the correct call.

BB ($25.75)
UTG ($47.75)
MP1 ($75.60)
MP2 ($88.91)
Hero ($59.75)
Button ($81.27)
SB ($42.56)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6d, 6c. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, MP2 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($2) 2s, Ks, 7c (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 bets $1, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB folds, MP2 calls $3.

Turn: ($10) 6h (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $7, MP2 calls $7.

River: ($24) Td (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $20, MP2 raises to $60, Hero calls $28.25 (All-In).

Results below:
MP2 has 9s 8s (straight, ten high).
Hero has 6d 6c (three of a kind, sixes).
Outcome: MP2 wins $132.25.

hand 3
This is easily my worst play of the night. Villian is 58/4. This guy practically turns his cards face up and i still paid him. These types of players usually tell you very clearly when they have a big hand.

MP2 ($37.75)
MP3 ($71.35)
CO ($31.40)
Button ($48.50)
SB ($48.10)
BB ($168.70)
UTG ($58.83)
Hero ($44)
MP1 ($52.20)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Kd, Kh. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 5 folds, SB (poster) calls $1.75, BB raises to $13.49, Hero calls $42 (All-In), SB folds, BB calls $30.01.

Flop: ($90) Td, 5s, 9s (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: ($90) 3h (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($90) Qd (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $90

Results below:
BB has As Ah (one pair, aces).
Hero has Kd Kh (one pair, kings).
Outcome: BB wins $90.

Despite the down swing and ass rape at 100NL i'm running 9.11ptbb/100 over 8025 hands. Without 25NL that is 4.39ptbb/100 over 5190 hands. I still have today and tomorrow left to play so we'll see what happens.
