Frustrated | Rattled

I haven't been playing that much for the last few days because i'm frustrated, and i feel i'm pretty close to tilting. Basically i'm frustrated with my lack of progress in poker right now. One day i'm up to 3200.00 then i fall back to 2800.00, its been back and forth like this for about a week. My peak has been at 3250.00 and low at 2735.00, just up and down with no consistancy... really frustrating.

On Monday i probably played in one of the toughest games on party at 100NL. The table stats were 18/12. I was running my normal 26/18 and was probably the loosest player there. Every pot was contested, 3bets were the norm, it was really interesting and i held my own quite nicely.

That table eventually broke up but i still had 3 other tables open that were also playing really tough. By this time i had been playing for over 1.5hrs and was starting to lose focus. The average table stats were 24/16 and i distinctly remember thinking that i should sit out. Well i didnt and soon after this hand happened

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: HTML)

UTG ($101.95)

MP ($253.89)

Button ($103.35)

Hero ($172.50)

BB ($101.85)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Ah, Ad.

1 fold, MP raises to $4, 1 fold, SB raises to $14, 1 fold, MP calls $10.

Flop: ($29) Qc, 8c, 3d (2 players)

SB bets $18, MP raises to $55, Hero calls $37.

villian was very aggro and i bet small enough to tempt him, he took the bait... but i failed to reraise him... also my bet was probably too small because it gave him odds to call and chase a flush draw. first mistake.

Turn: ($139) Tc (2 players)

Hero checks, MP checks.

I only had 109.00 left, but i thought i could get another bet out of him... pushing probably would only fold out better hands and get called by those that beat me... still i think this was my biggest mistake here...still betting anything less would give him odds to chase his draw..... I didnt think he had the made flush, so i should have pushed AI and get Value from Ac.

River: ($139) Ac (2 players)

Hero pukes, MP bets $71, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $210

Results:

MP has 7s 5s (high card, ace). hahaha omg i got pwnd HARD!

Outcome: MP wins $210.

I'm pretty sure i made the correct fold but this hand has me all shaken up. I've thought about this hand several times every day for the last several days. Today was the first time i went back in PT to look at it. The river card was just awful, i was not folding otherwise. God, i feel sick about this.

There was a concerted effort by everybody on the table to tilt me after this hand but i played for an additional 30 minutes more to prove a point than anything else. I put up a brave front at the tables but i was shaken to the core.

I want to post this on 2p2 to see where/if i played this wrong, but i'm pretty sure villian is 2p2 and i'm not giving him that satisfaction.

Wow, awful hand. I know it won't make you feel any better but I'm laying it down aswell. 90% of the time you're dead here.
